学院简介:
随着中国融入经济全球化，中外影视合作更趋频繁。近几年中国影视文化产业方兴未艾，中国更成为世界影视文化产业的重要市场，行业和市场的成熟对从业人员的素质提出了更高的要求，而高素质人才需求与从业人员平均素质水平较低之间的矛盾日益凸现。
英皇表演艺术学院整合上海文化产业的丰厚资源和高端人才，依托复旦大学的学科资源和百年教学管理经验，广泛利用董事单位—“上海文化广播影视集团公司”下属的电视台、电影制片厂、剧院、演出机构，“文汇新民联合报业集团”下属的报刊、杂志等丰富资源，并与国内外著名大学和媒体合作，突出学院国际视野的办学理念。
学院适应我国影视文化产业发展需要，以培养高度专业化和创新意识兼具的高层次人才为己任，积极利用上海中外文化交流之窗的有利地形，立足高起点，风云际会，吐纳生息，以求拓宽学生视野，并为学生开拓展示创意和能力的广阔舞台。学院与市场完全接轨，力求为市场培养具备完全实践能力的合格人才，打破高校培养半成品人才的现状，注重实践与理论相结合，以工作室、项目制带动师生创作，辅以教师的贴身指导，并将项目投入市场，直接验证教学成果。
学院目前开设有四个专业：“表演学”、“广播电视编导”、“广播电视编导(文化创意与管理方向）”和“播音与主持艺术”。院长汪天云教授亲自担任广播电视编导专业学科带头人；著名国家一级演员奚美娟教授、徐卫宏教授为表演专业学科带头人；上海市人民政府决策咨询专家，上海社科院上海研究中心副主任花建研究员为广播电视编导(文化策划与管理方向）专业学科带头人。“播音与主持艺术”本科专业是2007年获准举办的，已聘请王群教授为学科带头人。
In the trend of economic globalization, the cooperation between China and the outside world in TV & film making is becoming more and more regular. With the development and popularity of the China’s film & TV industry, China has become a vital market in the global industry. Although the maturity of the market and the film & TV industry requires higher standard of its workers, the problem between the demands for high talented people and a relatively low standard of the present employed workers is increasingly serious.
Integrating the abundant resources and the extremely higher talented people in Shanghai culture industry, taking advantage of Fudan University’s high academic and management experience, making full use of the boarding units SMEG and Wenhui-xinmin United Press Group and their attached TV stations, film studios , theatres , the performing troupes and the publications, The Emperor School of Performing Arts is an international-oriented college cooperating with the well known universities and medias both at home and abroad.
In order to cultivate highly specialized and talented students with sense of innovation to meet the needs of China’s film &TV industry, the college actively take advantage of Shanghai, a center city in the culture exchange with the outside world to broad the students’vision and set a glorious stage for the students to make endeavors to show their creations and capabilities. The college put much emphasis on the markets orientation, making a good balance between the practice and the theory and making great efforts to cultivate students with qualified skills. The systems such as the workshops and the project are carried out to stimulate the aspiration of the students as well as the faculties. The student’s works of art are closely directed by the teachers and then put to market to examine the teaching effect directly.
There are 4 disciplines in our college: Acting, TV & Radio Program Directing the Management of Culture Industry and Broadcasting & hosting art. Broadcasting & hosting art is a new discipline approved by the State Education Bureau in 2007
