   播音与主持艺术专业是为适应快速发展的广播电视传播事业的需要，为媒体及其他有关单位培养高质量人才而建立的。

　　Broadcasting & Hosting Art Department is to cultivate the high standard talents for the related corporations in order to meet the demands in the rapid growth of the TV & broadcasting industry.

　　本专业目标是培养学生在德、智、体、美全面发展，专业素养、艺术素养和文化素养并重，专业理论与实践能力结合，艺术感觉与现代传播技术融合，策划、采访、编导全能的复合型广播电视播音员和节目主持人。

　　The department is aiming to foster the students to be the program hosts and presenters in all round development in morality, mentality, physics and aesthetics with the compound quality of acquiring the skills of interviewing, TV program directing and organizing with sense of art and techniques of modern communications as well as gaining both ability of specialized theory and practice and getting a good balance between art manners and culture manners.

　　经过四年学习，学生将具有播音与主持艺术、广播电视新闻学、大众传播学、新闻采访写作学、汉语言文学等有关学科的专业知识；掌握播音与主持艺术的基本技能和方法，能够播报新闻、主持节目；了解和掌握党和国家的宣传政策和纪律；具有新闻采访、写作、编辑、制作的基本能力；具有较强的口头表达、文字表达能力和从事科学研究的能力；了解与本专业相关的政治、经济、哲学、社会、法律、心理、艺术、美学等学科知识；并熟练掌握一门外语。

　　After 4 years training, the students are expected to acquire the specialized knowledge in broadcasting and hosting, journalism of TV & radio, mass media communication, the interview and composition in journalism, Chinese literature and will be able to broadcast, announce the news and host a program by getting familiar with the state and the party policy of propaganda and gaining the basic ability of interviewing, writing, editing and producing. The graduates are expected to be strong in both oral express and the writing skills to do research, be excellent at least with one foreign language and understand the basic knowledge in related areas, such as politics, economics, socialism, philosophy, law, psychology, art and aesthetics, etc.

　　本专业除了有自己的专职师资队伍外，还聘请了王涛、范蓉、雷国芬、刘剑、张露等业界著名人士为兼职教授；叶惠贤、曹可凡、方舟、张培等为客座教授

　　Besides the professional full time teachers, the department also invites a number of famous people in the related areas to be the part time professors, such as Mr Lei Guofen, Ms Zhang Lu. MR Cao KeFan , MR Ye Huixian ,MS Fangzhou ,Mr Wang Tao,Ms Fan Rong , MR Liu Jian, and MS Zhang Pei are invited to be the guest professors in our department.
